Hormones R Hopping

Most of us know that hormones play an important role in our health and well being, but we may not understand why. Christine Houlihan, Endocrinologist with Austin Health and Mercy Hospital for Women, will give an overview on hormones and how they work. She’ll explain what happens when a woman’s hormones change due to menopause, either naturally or chemotherapy induced, and how these changes might impact on a younger woman compared to an older woman. Christine will also discuss the links between hormones and breast cancer, and other cancers.
